The Bodycare Journal: What Body Care Means to 521 Wellness.
Spreading body care awareness is something that comes naturally to me. When starting 521 wellness, I knew that this would have an impact on many. 521 is a wellness brand based on simply being healthy, happy, and relaxed. Together they create the complete body care system.
Be healthy: Nourish your body.
Feed your body foods that it can benefit from. Fruits & vegetables of course but also try to create different meals and take vitamins. My favorite vitamins are AG1. I love taking these because they have 75 minerals & nutrients that the body needs.
Visit the doctors regularly. This includes, the optometrist, physician, dentist, etc. Now-a-days, everyone is an entrepreneur and some people may not have the luxury of being insured through their employer. Don’t worry, you can get state insurance. Visit your county or state website and all of the benefits should be listed there. Call or apply online and every benefit can be explained to you thoroughly. This can cost $0-$25 and most medical offices will accept it. So no reason to not know what’s going on with your body! When I visit the doctor, I love to keep up with my blood work. I personally want to prevent any heart diseases or diabetes. So I’m very proactive. Especially, as I age. It’s always a good idea to get ahead of your health.
I’ve always had an active childhood but as I got older I started to become consumed with making a living. With that in mind, I recently started creating a new routine. It’s been challenging to incorporate this into my daily life however, it’s so imperative that I’m active as much as possible. Having an active life, will impact how your body ages. Studies show that the more active you are throughout life, the stronger you’ll be in old age. Imagine, being able to still work out, pick up the groceries, or clean the house at 75-80 years old. It’s the little things you do now that will better your future.
Be happy: enjoy the little things in life.
This one is very simple. Do what makes you happy. Share experiences with the ones you love. Create life experiences and memories that last forever.
Once you start living this way, the boundaries will start to form. People in your life that no longer serve growth to you, will slowly become distant. Living happily is not just about being happy 100% of the time but to truly enjoy your life. Create your dream life by embracing every little thing that makes you happy. Appreciate what’s in front of you in the current moment always and you will always have something to be happy about. It’s a process but is possible.
Be Relaxed: always make time for self love.
This is literally is life for me. I have to make sure I fit in time for a massage or an at-home spa day. I do this because it keeps me uplifted.
Self love can include anything that helps keep stress levels down. Things like journaling, meditation, beach days, walks, yoga, etc. will help keep you relaxed. Self love increases the mood you keep and can have improvements on how you treat others. Keeping stress levels down can have so many benefits on the body like having low blood pressure, decreasing depression/anxiety, reducing tension, and etc.
Self love can be very simple never think to hard. Do what keeps you relaxed. Your lifestyle will change for the better.
