Photography express so many types of emotions, memories, and encounters. We as a generation has accustomed the natural ability to take pictures on a daily basis. Think about it – when was the last time you took a selfie? Exactly. With social media applications like Instagram and Snapchat, they embolden us to appreciate and capture photos. Although, there still a vast amount of folks that can’t take photos at all – take your Grandmothers facebook avatar for example. It’s cool that you’re new to photography. We all have to start somewhere.

VSCO (known for their photo editing app plus way more cool stuff) recently rolled out a web series called VSCO #Academy. Their mission is to provide a place for photographers of any skillset to learn, be inspired, and engage with each other. If you’re a newbie – Of course you can look at some tutorials on YouTube, but that’s just like watching paint dry. What’s so different about VSCO you ask? Watch the intro above and you tell us.
