New Balance Partners With EAT for Limited Release
Shoe City has tapped DMV (that’s DC, Maryland, Virginia to non-natives) brand EAT to assist with its latest New Balance collaboration.
EAT, which stands for “Elevate All the Time,” has made a big impact in DMV culture since its inception in 2016, which is what prompted Shoe City to team up with the lifestyle brand. Although New Balance’s 990v4 is best known for its more muted colorways and timeless style, Shoe City and EAT’s comparatively eye-catching version doesn’t stray too far into the extreme.
The fact that this collaborative pair is limited to just 1,000 pairs worldwide makes the release that much more special.
The 990v4’s upper comes in EAT’s customary red, yellow, and blue colors and features a pigskin suede and mesh construction. The technical ENCAP midsole is two-tone black and gray.
The shoes are available exclusively at Shoe City locations in Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Virginia, as well as online at YCMC
