A look at the Palace x Polo Ralph Lauren collaboration
After letting the hype build up through a series of billboards, Palace and Ralph Lauren have now released a video lookbook giving us a first look at their joint collection.
It’s nice to see Palace’s core ethos hasn’t tampered with too much. Clearly, they’ve been given a lot of free reign with the tongue-in-cheek video, which features team members Chewy Cannon, Juan Saavedra, Lucien Clarke, and Rory Milanes driving the cars that as motifs throughout the range – an early 90s Golf Mk2 and a BMW 3 series E30.
Key pieces include patterned silk shirts, corduroy trousers with an embroidered car print, a red and black checked jacket, and branded loafers. Rory Milanes also sports a knitted piece with Ralph Lauren’s famous bear doing a kickflip.
The collection will be available from both Palace and select Polo Ralph Lauren stores from 9 November. Similar to Supreme drops, Japan and Korea will get it a day later.
