Instagram’s Head of Product, Kevin Weil, sits down with Josh Constine at TechCrunch Disrupt in NY. The two discuss Instagram’s relationship to Snapchat, the propagation of ideas, and the rationale behind the algorithmic feed. He tells Josh that “Stories is a format” and they are not stealing from Snapchat. Weil includes that Instagram is focused on Instagram and solving problems.
