Porsche 356 Outlaw Roadster
Rod Emory restores Porsche 356 coupes and convertibles at his shop in northern Los Angeles. His company “Emory Motorsports” are specialises in customizing the Porsche 356s since the late 1980s. The timeless model was taken out of production in 1956 but has since remained a favorite of car collectors worldwide. Dubbed the “Outlaw”, this modern take on the classic sports car has been updated with some premium flourishes for the exterior and interior, including rally-style seating, plus several performance upgrades, all without losing that timeless appeal. This 356 Roadster is Emory’s latest project, this fabulous creation started life as a 1960 356 Roadster, before Rod Emory’s workshop transformed it almost beyond recognition into the beautiful beast it is today. Beneath the elegant and impossibly minimal exterior lies a 205-hp, 2,650 cc FAT 914 engine, 911 rear suspension, 911 5-speed transmission, aluminum hood, tonneau cover & headrest fairing and a Speedster windshield. The car weighs in at just 1,750 pounds and is said to offer a supercar-like driving experience.
