DC Native @allhomage Invests In Kids Within The Community with “BoysEAT”
This is what I can spend the rest of my life doing just helping them grow to be kings – Malik Jarrett
Washington D.C’s own, Malik Jarrett, also known as @allhomage is a photographer, clothing designer, and philanthropist who recently started the thriving brand, “EAT” last year. With all of the success the brand has received, he decided to give back to his community by creating a back to school program for boys at Ketchum Elementary. Already in Week 3, Malik has been teaching the boys the basis of paying homage, showing respect, and ultimately how to become young men. We’ve interviewed Malik last year and he mentioned one of his passions is photography – which made sense for him to incorporate the art within his after school syllabus. Malik brought in disposables cameras for the young men and instructed them to take pictures of people with integrity, paying homage, showing respect, etc. But he seeks your help. If you’re reading this in the DMV area, Malik asks if you can bring in disposable cameras to an EAT popup and receive $10 off your purchase or if you just want to donate because you want to assist in some type of way, that’s cool too. Let’s help our boysEAT. You can learn more details by following Malik @allhomage or visiting his website. You start dying when you stop dreaming.
