Skateboarder Dylan Rieder Has Died Aged 28 From Leukemia

Yesterday, we mourn from the sad news that talented and influential skateboarder Dylan Rieder has passed away after a battle with leukemia.

After releasing a sensational yet effortless video part in Transworld Skateboarding’s A Time to Shine, Dylan quickly gained popularity and recognition. Rieder attracted a sponsorship deal from Alien Workshop and featured in their 2009 video Mind Field.

Dylan Rieder built upon his legacy as he went on to ride for Fucking Awesome and HUF, as well as starring prominently in Supreme’s iconic video Cherry, coining himself as one of the world’s most respected skateboarders.

His family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made to Dr. Stephen Forman in his name. Watch a visual of the talented skater doing what he does best below. You start dying when you stop dreaming.
